Girl put your records on, tell me your favorite song.
March is National Women’s History Month, and me being a young woman myself figured that i should acknowledge this 🙂
National Women’s History Month’s roots go back to March 8, 1857, when women from New York City factories staged a protest over working conditions. International Women’s Day was first observed in 1909, but it wasn’t until 1981 that Congress established National Women’s History Week to be commemorated the second week of March. In 1987, Congress expanded the week to a month. Every year since, Congress has passed a resolution for Women’s History Month, and the President has issued a proclamation.
The number of females in the United States as of Oct. 1, 2009. The number of males was 151.8 million.
Girls rule, is that not what that says?? There are four million more of us then there are of those boys. So i say as women, and young women, and girls of ALL AGES we should take this month and take over the world!! No not with force and nuclear weapons and stuff. But will our minds. Together, we can do anything. And it is our month after all. Women used to not have nearly as much power as we do now. They didn’t used to be able to vote or to even go to school! We weren’t good enough for that in old times, or at least that’s what everybody thought. But we are good enough for that, and we’re better then that! Now we have limitless possibilities and we can do or be anything we want! We are capable of absolutely anything. And we need to all remember that. We are powerful as a whole as well as by ourselves.
So go out and do something you thought wasn’t possible for you to do and succeed 🙂
So all the women in the world can have a great March.
So we all can have a great National Women’s History Month!!!
😉 Come on girls you know you want to.
Use your mind powers 😉
