So yes i know that i have not posted a good long post in a while, but i’ve been busy!! So sorry.
First of all i just finished this book called Sidartha. It was a pretty good book, it had some parts i could have lived without reading but still it was a good book. It’s about the Buddha. The concept of Buddhism is fascinating to me. The idea that you never need more then you already have, and that you don’t need anything in the first place to be happy is amazing. In the book the main character Sidartha joins a group that believes that the only way that they can find peace in themselves is to loose themselves completely. To not feel anymore. Not feel pain, or hunger, r fear, or love. Anything. That was the only way that they believed that they could find peace. Sidartha tried but was unsuccessful and decided that this was not the path for him and ventured out on his own. He believed that you could not teach a person something, that they had to learn it for themselves.
In this book everyone seems to be following a specific pattern, or formula to get to the same happiness. but if you think about it, no one will every experience the same happiness and no one will ever be able to get there in the exact same way. Everyone’s different and not one thing will work for every person on this lovely earth. An on top of that how do we actually know when we are “enlightened”? That is what i would like to know.
Buddhism is a fascinating concept, one that i can’t quite manage to grasp completely.
That’s all i have to say for tonight.
And for your thing to think about.
What is your favorite season out of the year?
Autumn, Winter, Summer, Spring?
How does this reflect on your personality??
Your attitude on life??
Just think about that 😉
Cause I love Autumn it’s the prettiest time of year!!
