So in our lives, we often take roads that are, not exactly dry. They may be very muddy, and messy, and often gross, and staining. Those muddy roads will stain your shoes and pants, and those stains sometimes may never come out.
What i mean by my visualization of a “muddy road” is that sometimes life is tough. We are faced with something that we simply can’t avoid and sometimes that thing “stains” us. Some of the time yes, that muddy road is avoidable but, most of the time it is not. We end up walking down that muddy, soggy, road, and end up regretting it in the end.
As humans. We mess up. We’re not perfect, and not everything we do is perfect. I admit, that i am not perfect, in fact sometimes i am far from it. Well not sometimes, most of the time actually. We all mess up, and no human on earth can say otherwise. Thing is. Messing up isn’t always a bad thing. You learn from your mistakes. The only, true mistake is one that you do not learn from. So theoretically, if we never made mistakes, we would never learn anything.
So i say. Go ahead and take that muddy road if you have to. No i am not saying go and mess up and do something that you will regret doing the next day. I’m saying. Embrace the mistakes. Forgive yourself for the mistakes you have made in the past and in the future. The first step in being forgiven is forgiving yourself. If you never forgive yourself then you’ll never be forgiven.
Now for your thing to think about.
Have you ever thought about what you were like in school? Or what you still are like in school??
I’m sure all of you have.
Were you with the nerds or jocks or preps or populars???
How does your answer reflect on where and what you are today??
Think about that 😉
